Many formal occasions such as proms, formal dances, graduations and weddings, call for the wearing of a corsage or boutonniere. Like most traditions, there are certain customs that go along with wearing a corsage. This can seem intimidating if it’s your first time purchasing a corsage, but don’t worry! We are here to help you through the process.
Choices:
1) The Spray Rose Corsage consists of up to 5 heads of a spray rose, (depending on size) You may choose 1 or 2 rose colors. If you choose a color that is not natural, it can be tinted with floral paint.
2) Ribbons colors are also a choice. you can choose 1 or 2 colors and also whether these are shear or opaque.
3) Too Many Decisions? The Easy way out is to tell us your primary colors (dress, shoes, shirt, jacket, etc.) and let our designer choose. You will be pleasently surprised!
Types:
1) Wrist Corsage is the most common. It is secured to an elastic band and worn on the wrist (traditionally on the left wrist)
2) A Pinned Corsage is very traditional and pinned to the strap of a dress or gown. (It is customary to place the corsage on the left side of the dress)
3) Velcro Wrist Corsage for children or very small wristed adults.
